Thank you for exploring the world of Montaluce.
At the heart of the Montaluce Estate and at its highest point, the property boasts a modern 25,000-square foot winery building. Reminiscent of a grand Tuscan villa, with sweeping views of the vineyards and mountains beyond, guests will discover here the Italian ideal of “La Vita Bella”, or the beautiful life–centered around food, wine and sharing.
On the winery’s main floor, the handsome Tasting Room and beautiful restaurant Le Vigne offer a place to unwind and enjoy New- and Old-World Italian dishes alongside a thoughtful wine list that includes selections from the United States as well as Italy. On the lower levels, guests may observe the fine art of winemaking in our production facility that comprises more than 9500-square feet.
Come tour and taste from barrel with the winemaker, tour the vineyards with our vineyard manager, participate in Wine University, take a culinary class with our chef or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the wonderful world of wine and dining at Montaluce—the heart of North Georgia Wine Country.
Our winery team will be more than happy to help you with any questions or concerns you may have. Feel free to call us or use the form at this link to initiate your inquiry. You can also keep up with us through both Twitter and Facebook via the links in the right sidebar or make reservations at the link above as well.

CONTRIBUTORS:
JOE HERRIG, www.suburbanwino.com
Joe has been drinking wine since his trusty fake ID afforded him cannonballs of Carlo Rossi in college. Despite these shenanigans, Joe graduated (nearly on time) from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the Henry W. Grady School of Journalism. His passion for wine grew through the reading of countless books on the subject and multiple visits to Northern California, where an interest in wine became an obsession. In a feable attempt to gain fame and fortune, Joe started the blog suburbanwino.com in late 2008 and enjoyed writing about wine and food ever since.
Earlier in 2009, Joe earned the Certified Specialist of Wine credential from the Society of Wine Educators…albeit his knowledge of Carlo Rossi cannonballs offered little help on the exam. When not obsessing about all things vino, Joe will bend your ear about college football, the Atlanta Falcons, music, running, homebrewing, cooking, writing, and leisure sports. He resides in beautiful Woodstock, GA with his equally beautiful wife, Heather.
ED THRALLS, www.winetonite.com
Ed is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), who has been writing about wine on his blog, Wine Tonite!, since 2008. Wine has been a passion for him and his wife for most of their adult lives, with Ed’s journey starting with post-college European jaunts that included Italy and Spain, two countries producing some really great wine. Ed’s focus on wine really kicked into high gear after a 2003 trip to Napa Valley and he’s never looked back. Ed has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida (how in the world does a Bulldog and Gator really get along here?) and an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. Yes, computers and wine do mix, and now Ed can be found reading, writing, making, studying and, of course drinking wine. He is a candidate to complete the UC-Davis Winemaker’s Certificate Program in 2010.
